LOGO SAFETY MARGIN

The safety margin is an imaginary space surrounding the logo. It must be free of design elements and also defines the absolute minimum distance between the logo and the edge of a medium or other design elements. The safety margin is defined by the size of the short side of the TECE "E", which is placed around the logo. The safety margin is intended as a minimum distance; the actual distance to elements or edges is usually greater.

LOGO VARIANTS

The logo with or without the claim is used to create brand awareness (e.g. on promotional material, products, displays, etc.). The "stage" and the "signature tag" are always used together and whenever specific content is shown or explained (e.g. brochure title, advert, banner, etc.) – a defined format with a recognisable beginning and end is always required.

LOGO WITH CLAIM

The logo can be used with or without the claim. The logo-claim combination can be used both horizontally and vertically. The safety margin is extended accordingly.

TECE LOGO ON STAGE WITH SIGNATURE TAG

To ensure good recognition, the logo can be placed on a stage if required. The "Stage".

When using the "Stage", the direct combination of "logo and claim" is generally avoided. The "Stage" is used exclusively in combination with the "Signature Tag".

These two elements should be used primarily in image-enhancing print and digital media.

Horizontal application of logo on stage with signature tag.

The signature tag can be used horizontally and vertically. Please pay attention to the safety margins.

STAGE WITH SIGNATURE TAG SAFETY MARGIN

The safety margin for both elements is calculated from a square-wide signature tag/3. The square is then drawn as a frame around the elements.

The use of the stage and the signature tag is subject to simple and clear rules. Detailed descriptions of how to use the elements in print or digital media can be found on the following pages: Print/layout system and grid and Digital/layout system and grid.

COLOUR VARIANTS

In the aim of a uniform brand perception, the logo may be used in the versions shown here. The preferred version is always the logo in TECE blue on a white / light background.

If it is not possible to use TECE blue, the colour negative version should be selected.

The 1 C grey can be used as a subtle tying element.

The black version of the logo is only permitted for special technical requirements where the use of blue or grey is not possible.
